Because if aren’t engaging, and only getting new customers than, we really don’t appreciate who we have now.

Most large businesses lose half their customers everyone, and maybe think that they can just get more..after awhile it’s going to catch up with them. The bad recommendations and a lack of referrals will show up in their business.

There are several ways to increase customer loyalty. Below are a few suggestions that may not be new to you. Taking some action will give you inspiration to take a close look at what you are doing now to improve your business for tomorrow.

Take a moment to think about how your loyalty behavior is based on your current favorite companies where you buy goods and services. Can you use some of type of things they do in their business, that you can adopt.

Think of the coffee card, buy 10 get one free – its a great way to develop loyal customers, get to know them and develop a relationship with them. Once you do this then you can get them on your mailing list. One of my favorite coffee bars, used to do this, it was a happy place to go to. The staff eventually quit doing it, you could actually feel the energy shfit.

Ask their opinion of your services and perhaps why they haven’t bought more from you or even ask those tough questions of what stops them from leaving a review for you.

Ask yourself and your customer these questions:

* What makes you loyal to them?

* What did they do to gain your loyalty?

I am sure that there are other questions you can think of. Do some research of what other businesses ask their customers to help you. The Net Promoter Score will give you an indicator of how well you are doing and where you need to improve upon.

Have you ever considered offering *Free gifts* like when you buy this ____ you’ll get this ____. Fragrance companies do it all the time. *Bonus gifts* When you do our survey we’ll gift your a Gift card. *Bonuses* We’ve partnered up with _____ you can have up to three books or videos for free, just our way to say Thank you!

When you show that you care, your customers will buy from you more.

I hope this has given you some ideas in having a better customer loyalty program that you can continue with. In time you will find way to improve upon it or maybe you’ll even not want to continue.
